Arizona Waldorf Scholarship Foundation is undergoing self-decertification.

With the loyal support of our donors such as yourself, AWSF has been providing scholarships to students attending independent Waldorf schools in the state of Arizona since 1999. The legacy of AWSF operating as a School Tuition Organization (STO) has helped hundreds of families access funding to send their children to Waldorf inspired schools which instill a love of learning, creativity, and joy. AWSF is an excellent steward of tax credit donations, yet it has come to our attention that larger STOs have abilities that exceed our limitations and will better serve Waldorf families and scholarship recipients. Accordingly, AWSF has made the difficult decision to self-decertify from the Arizona STO program. AWSF continues to operate as a valid 501c3 non-profit corporation.

AWSF will no longer be accepting Arizona Tax Credit Donations as we work through the process of self-decertifying. However, your continued support of Waldorf schools is vital to the success of Waldorf education in the state of Arizona. Our partner schools will team up with STOs that have a broader reach to open the doors for more funding from corporate donations and offer more services for families to be successful in soliciting student recommended tax credit donations. Any remaining tax credit scholarships that are not awarded by AWSF will be transferred to another STO and will include all donor recommendations related to those awards.

If you have already donated to AWSF for the 2021 tax year, thank you and your donation will support Waldorf education and will count as an Arizona Tax Credit when you file for 2021.
